Why have a Toastmaster for your
Wedding?
A Toastmaster is not normally high on the list of most
couples weddings plans, but when you look back on the day, you
will probably realise it was the best money you spent on your
entire wedding. The Toastmaster will take the worry away from
the day and he ( or she ) will ensure the day runs to plan and
time. The presence of a Toastmaster in the familiar red tailed
coat gives something extra to your big day
I only want an informal wedding. Toastmasters are too formal
!
On the contrary - a toastmaster will give you the time to enjoy
the company of your family and friends. A Toastmaster can be as
informal or formal as you require, and it is comforting to know
that you have someone to fall back on when things need
arranging. A Toastmaster will give you the time to really enjoy
yourself.
The reception venue is supplying one of its staff as a
Toastmaster !
This is normally the banqueting or duty manager who is being
given another job for the day. They are normally very busy
people looking after the waiting and kitchen staff and making
sure your reception runs to plan. They will normally only call
the guests in to dinner and announce the bride and groom. A
professional Toastmaster will offer unlimited advice before and
on the day, meet the bride , groom and guests at the entrance,
arrange the receiving line in the correct order, be on hand for
the entire duration of the reception and wedding breakfast,
announce the bridal party, say grace before the meal, introduce
those giving speeches, give advice on speeches, introduce the
first dance………………….the list goes on.
And finally :-
You have spent many months ( or years ) planning your special
day, and you have booked all the various people to assist you
on your big day. They are all professionals and their business
is to make sure you have the day you have always dreamed of.
The professional Toastmaster is there to bring all these
services together on the day so that it runs seamlessly with no
hiccups or problems. You could rely on the best man to perform
this task, but he has probably been asked as the best friend of
the groom, not for his organisational abilities. He may be
willing but will YOU get what YOU want.
Book a Toastmaster - the only thing you can lose - is the worry
and stress on the day !
